In November 2023, Innovate UK’s visit to the World Horti Center near The Hague in the Westland area not only showcased the region’s dedication to delving into the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) in horticulture, but also highlighted the importance of collaborative efforts. During this visit, 20 UK and Dutch companies specializing in AI horticulture were treated to an insightful program.
The companies embarked on a tour, attended presentations by key entities such as the regional economic development agency InnovationQuarter and the TU Delft AgTech Institute, and engaged in a valuable networking session with industry leaders. This collective experience emphasized the significance of forging partnerships to unlock the possibilities that AI brings to the horticulture sector.
