Over 150 chemical companies, 5 large scale crude oil refineries and 10 global biobased industry leaders are providing companies within the biobased ecosystem with feedstock and semi-manufactured products or are using other companies’ by-products.

The Port of Rotterdam is located strategically with pipeline connections to airports such as Schiphol, Germany and Belgium. The location in a deep-sea port offers excellent facilities for inland shipping, short-sea, rail, and roads to and from the European hinterland.

Biotech Campus Delft

Biotech Campus Delft is a new open innovation campus, focused on biotechnology, boosting the transition to a sustainable, bio-based economy. The entire innovation cycle is supported here, from research to piloting and production.This open innovation campus hosts startups, tech- and service-providers, SME’s and established companies in the field of industrial biotechnology. Founding partners are DSM and TU Delft.
