Leiden Bio Science Park

Leiden Bio Science Park is the leading science park in the Netherlands dedicated to biomedicine. The park is home to a vibrant community with over 100 biomedical companies, including startups, scale-ups, SME’s and large multinational corporations. Various training, research and demo facilities are in place to facilitate and support this vibrant business community.

Erasmus Medical Center Campus

Erasmus University Medical Center is building Europe’s first Health Technology Campus, surrounding its current premises in Rotterdam. At completion between 2025 and 2027, the new campus building will house multiple floors of flexible lab space and offices for Life Sciences & Health companies.

Join the community

The new campus building will provide facilities for the health and technology convergence programme of Erasmus MC, TU Delft and Erasmus University Rotterdam. In this programme, a multidisciplinary team works on various projects focusing on designing the future of health. Until the campus building is completed, temporary facilities are available to kickstart several research programmes and provide housing for companies pending rental at the brand new premises.

RoboHouse offers testing, training and demonstration services and facilities for cognitive robotics, application development and testing.

The Proteomics Center at Erasmus MC develops mass spectrometry based methodologies for qualitative and quantitative (SILAC, TMT, etc.) proteomics analysis.

The Leiden Academic Centre for Drug Research (LACDR) is a centre of excellence for multidisciplinary research on drug discovery and development

Dutch Optics Centre offers custom testing and research possibilities as well as technology and product development. Cleanroom (dust-free) facilities are available for proof of concept and demonstration.

The Center for Human Drug Research (CHDR) in Leiden specialises in innovative early-stage clinical drug research

The new Holland Proton Therapy Centre in Delft provides more than excellent patient care. It is also a unique research facility for groundbreaking research for new cancer treatments in proton therapy.

A large part of the research at the Reactor Institute Delft focuses on medical applications, such as the production of medical isotopes and the diagnosis and treatment of cancer.

Flexible office & lab facilities

Thanks to the proactive partners in our region, the availability of lab and office facilities is growing along with the business community. Since the arrival of the European Medicines Agency in Amsterdam, our life sciences & health cluster is growing significantly.

Our region counts various multi-tenant buildings for flexible workspace, as well as greenfield plots, allowing for new real estate development that meets your specific needs. There are several business centres for longer term rental and incubator spaces which offer business growth support and community.

The BioPartner Center Leiden offers flexible office and laboratory facilities for companies that conduct research that focuses on the development of medicines and vaccines. In addition, this incubator offers business growth support and facilitates the vibrant community on its premises.

The Rotterdam Science Tower houses several life sciences organisations. Located here is the LabHotel, offering flexible lab space which meets all (inter)national requirements for laboratories and can be rented for a short period, as well as the Erasmus MC incubator, which provides business support to startups and scale-ups in the LSH domain.
